00:17:16	Billy Stone:	Oakridge put on a skit with students and invited parents to watch, we also served a light meal.   We also had a home cookie activity we sent materials home and the families make cookies and took pictures and shared with the class.  Activities went well.

00:35:19	Vic Jaras:	You can practice for family engagement nights by DAILY talking with parents.. try to recruit volunteers or help with field trips.  You should have every staff person great parents every day when they pick up children.. this will help attendance at events if parents feel welcome.
